Why? The Department of Education is constantly seeking students who are interested in gaining experience and exposure to government, education, and public policy. Internships are available in a wide variety of areas, including Policy Analysis, Public Affairs, Intergovernmental Relations, Legislative Affairs, Law, Finance, and Program Management. Special offices within the Department include Elementary Education, Student Financial Aid, Civil Rights, Bilingual Education, and Teacher Development, among many others.
