 Alberto Camacho Rojas Year and Location of HYS:2005 and 2006, Marymount University, HYS RA 2008 in University of Richmond High School: C.D. Hylton Senior High School School currently attending: Georgetown University class 2011 What did you get out of attending HYS? What I got out of my experience with the HYS is more than just money it is lasting friendships and realtionships with my peers and with professionals that I know I can count on for assistance if I ever need it. I was able to reinforce my belief that no university is too expensive because there are so many scholarships and aid out there. I was inspired by those students older than me who are successful and hope that I can be a role model to others like they have been for me. Educational and career goals: Since I have joined the Army ROTC program at Georgetown my career goals have changed a little bit, because upon graduating I will serve the country for eight years, as of now I´m not completely sure if I will go into active duty or reserves nor do I know the branch that I want to be a part of. After the Army though I hope to get into politics and run for elected office wherever life takes me and see how far up the political ladder I can go. Academically I am going to double major in Government and Spanish.
