Brittany Chase Rodrigues

The 2008 NM Hispanic Youth Symposium reinforced to me the importance of continuing my education and pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering. It helped me learn how to network with other people and gave me the confidence to be a mentor to my peers.

I also became more comfortable speaking with both college and corporate recruiters, the more opportunities I had to meet with them. This program really helped me build my confidence.

Brittany Chase Rodrigues is a senior at Hope Christian High School in Albuquerque, where she maintains a B+ GPA. She intends to achieve her bachelor's degree and become a mechanical engineer. She is also involved in robotics at her school.
