The Hispanic College Fund announced that it is now accepting applications for the 2009 Marriott Scholars Program. The program, sponsored by the J. Willard and Alice S. Marriott Foundation, helps support Hispanic students interested in pursuing careers within the hospitality industry.

The Hispanic College Fund was joined by Dallas Cowboys Veteran, Tony Casillas, who served as emcee and played golf at the Fund's 9th Annual Charity Golf Tournament at the Cowboys Golf Club in Grapevine, Texas. Dexter Coakley, also a Dallas Cowboy Veteran, played in the tournament hosted by General Dynamics and Gulfstream Aerospace, that generated more than $125,000.
