University of New Mexico
History
The HCF University Chapter at University of New Mexico was officially chartered by the University of New Mexico on January 25,2011. This became the first HCF University Chapter in history to officially be recognized by a university.
Purpose & Mission
The HCF University Chapter at University of New Mexico would take a holistic, comprehensive approach to unifying all aspects and programs of the Hispanic College Fund. It would unite HCF Scholars, HPI Leaders, HYI Volunteers and Students, and NASA MUST Scholars within each university, and it would leverage each of those individuals in ways that would continue advancing and strengthening each of HCF’s respective programs by focusing on the core components of Academic Success, Community Involvement, Professional Development, and Leadership development.
The mission of the HCF University Chapter at University of New Mexico is to develop the next generation of Hispanic professionals.
