The Hispanic Youth Institute (HYI) is a fun, energetic and transformational experience that will give you the opportunity to believe in yourself and create a familia of Latino high school peers, college student mentors, and professional heroes that will support your dreams to go to college and pursue a professional career.

Student Eligibility Requirements:
- Attend Belmont, Roosevelt, Santee, or Jordan high schools
- Have a GPA of 3.0 or above
- Be of sophomore or junior status in the fall of 2012
- Complete the online application and essays
