HCF Scholars
The Hispanic College Fund is proud to have awarded over $5 million in scholarships to talented Hispanic students since 1994. Each year HCF attempts to raise both the average amount of each scholarship and the number of scholarships awarded. Next year our goal is to awarded $2 million in scholarships with an average award of $3,000.

Remember when you got that envelope in the mail from HCF. That slight nervousness before opening it and then the sense of joy and relief when you read that you had been selected to receive an HCF scholarship. You knew someone believed in you and was willing to help you financially so you could reach your goal of obtaining a college education.

The Congressional Award

The Congressional Award is a non-competitive program that encourages young people to set and achieve challenging goals in for program areas: voluntary public service, personal development, physical fitness, and expeditions. Each person sets goals based on individual interests and are rewarded with with certificates or medals based on the hours you put into the program, which means that this is not a competitive program.
